I am a Colorado native I grew up spending my childhood in the mountains of Colorado. I have been rock climbing for 17-years and I have hiked most of the 14,000 ft mountains in our state. Along with a passion for the mountains I have always been in love with flying. As far back as I can remember my dad would take me to air shows and I would dream about the possibility of someday flying.
Finally in 2002 I got my chance when I joined the Army Reserve. It was then that I enlisted as an engine mechanic working on the engine systems for all the different army helicopters. Not long after that I enrolled at Westwood college of Aviation Technology and started working on my A&P (Airframe and Powerplant rating). While I was at Westwood I was also working on my Warrant Officer flight packet for the Army flight school, and flying in my spare time. In 2005 I went to Ft. Rucker and started flying Helicopters for the Army. While I was there I also flew aerobatics on the weekends in a Christian Eagle at Panama City Fl. After I returned from Ft. Rucker I took a job as a Pilot/Mechanic doing Utility work for a Colorado based company. I currently still work for them flying their fleet of Bell 206's, and a F-90 King Air. Along with that in 2008 I attended the HAATS (High Altitude Army Aviation School), the CH-47D MTP (Maintenance Test Pilot Course), and the OH-58 AQC (Aircraft Qualification Course). Between the Army and my civilian job I have done everything from pull people off the side of mountains to film Good Morning America at Mt. Rushmore.
I spend most of my time flying in the mountains and I can honestly say it is what makes me the most happy. I currently Hold a Rotary Wing CFI, a Fixed Wing CFI, a Multi Engine Commercial Rating, and an A&P. My Aircraft experience is in Bell 206-B3, B2, L-3, L-4, 222, AS350B2, Beach F-90, OH-58, R-44, and CH-47D
